If you're not a member of Women In Film Dallas (WIF.D) but would nonetheless like to learn how to make a winning sizzle reel (and who wouldn't?), you can still attend the WIF.D "We've Got That In Development" event on Tuesday, Nov. 11 and find out.
The event - sponsored by Texas Christian University-Radio-TV- Film Dept., AMS Pictures, The Personal Chef and The Dallas Film Commission - will take place at AMS Pictures, 16986 Dallas Pkwy.; show up at 6:30 for cocktails and networking, or procrastinate until the actual start time of the program at 7 p.m.
Tickets cost $30 (non-member price), and can be purchased here. For your thirty bucks, you'll receive insider insight from a talented panel of local lady filmmakers (listed below) into what the networks are looking for. You'll also get a sneak peak at a show that hasn't yet been aired (but which, presumably, will be), along with essential info on original programming and TV series development.
Here are the expert panelists who will be on hand to share their expertise:
* Elaine Frontain Bryant | A&E - Vice President, Non Fiction and Alternative Programming (Paranormal State, Psychic Kids)
* Mary Pelloni | Pelloni Entertainment - Executive Producer/Producer (Bridezillas, Paul Mooney, The Roseanne Show)
* Kim Clemons | AMS Pictures - Senior Writer/Producer (Bridezillas, Growing up Gotti, Crossing Over With John Edward)
* Karen Barnes | HIT Entertainment - Senior Vice President Development and Programming (Barney)
* Moderator - Tammy Nguyen Lee | AMS Pictures - Director of Development & Distribution and WIF.D Programs Co-Chair
