Texas Monthly has nifty summary of early voting figures in 15 Texas counties
For a data-rich summary of early voting in Texas, hit this post by Paul Burka at Texas Monthly. It shows early voting for the 15 counties in Texas that have the greatest number of registered voters, and that includes Dallas, Denton, Tarrant, and Collin. It shows how many people voted each day, with a comparison of overall early voters in 2004 versus 2008.
In Dallas County, for example, there were 346,729 early voters in 2004, versus 508,070 in 2008. (Those figures include mail-in ballots.) Of all the early voting days, October 31 drew the largest number of voters, and Sunday October 26 drew the least.
