Dallas firm Fish & Richardson ranked the largest IP law firm in the U.S.
DALLAS Fish & Richardson P.C. has been ranked the largest intellectual property practice in the United States by Managing Intellectual Property Magazine (MIP).
This is the third year in a row that Fish has topped this survey. It is also the first time that any IP practice has crossed the 400-practitioners mark. Fish was found to have the largest IP practice in any of the four geographic regions included in the survey: Asia, Europe, the U.S., and Canada.
“Despite starting off as a boutique firm, Fish & Richardson has outgrown its counterparts and is one of the most successful IP firms in the country,” noted MIP editors. The magazine reported that Fish grew in almost all its U.S. offices. The firm’s Dallas office, which opened in 2000 with just three attorneys is currently home to 52 attorneys and is the firm’s largest Texas office.
Founded in 1878, Fish & Richardson is one of the largest law firms in the United States practicing exclusively in the areas of intellectual property, litigation and corporate law.
