Kim Brimer not conceding victory to Wendy Davis
Apparently, Kim Brimer isn't ready to let go.
PoliTex says that Wednesday afternoon, the Wendy Davis campaign had yet to receive a congratulatory call, and no concession statement had been made from the state senator, a Tarrant County Republican.
Brimer, who lost by about 7,000 votes to the former Fort Worth City Councilwoman, was unavailable for comment when called Tuesday night by the Star-Telegram. His campaign spokesman, Jarod Cox, said they were waiting for more complete results before commenting.
When 100 percent of the precincts were reported by Tarrant County elections officials late Tuesday night, Brimer still did not call with a comment.
Let's not be quick to judge this as poor sportsmanship - after all, it's a definite possibility that Brimer really isn't ready to let go and that he'll continue to challenge Davis' eligibility even after her election.

Kim Brimer is a bitter old right winger who was shown to be a thief and a liar, why cant he just admit it and move on with rest of his pathetic short life...

Good for Wendy Davis winning! She does not need a phone call from that Kim Brimer guy at all. She is already in Austin getting ready to go to work. I am so glad I do not have to watch that stupid and arrogant tv commercial anymore, "Who is Kim Brimer?", "Who is Kim Brimer?", over and over again during those pre-election days of past. Kim Brimer is NOW retired from politics, he should concede defeat and not be such a sore loser and continue his arrogance. Be a man Kim. Go Wendy Davis! A whole new fresh start for the Texas Senate.

chrisdanger - calling Brimer a right winger is an insult to right-wingers like me. He wasn't even a good conservative. You are right about him being bitter, a thief, and a liar though. Go Wendy! from a libertarian leaning Republican.

This article is as petty as his fits, imo. Who cares that he's not offering a congratulatory phone call? Dude obviously feared the inevitable; no reason to kick him while he's down.

I cannot beleive someone would pay $140 for a newspaper printed just days ago?? I have a couple of JFK DEAD (presidnet dead, connolly shot)and even an RFK DEAD (rfk assassinated)newspapers in great condition. When I went to the Antiques Roadshow last month, they said they were worth $1 to $5 only?!
