We who stayed at home could have watched it happen "live" on the Sunday morning local news which starts at 8:00am Sundays. That why they call this Dallas,the city with a trash can for all of its old and new and yet thoses old buildings do get smelly and they do need renovation or the likes of the old should be torn down,.... then again Dallas is like Vegas in many ways, it has to go forward and so that was a great 9/12 Implosion,until then A.T, Dust Remover.

Saw the signs for its demo, forgot to look into when it'd drop.

Did they close 75 for this? Cause it'd be pretty awesome for unsuspecting motorists to suddenly see a building fall.

Actually, I thought about that very thing Pavel, but I wasn't sure where to put it? Obviously, there wasn't a listing for that particular holiday inn anymore, so not there. I guess I could have just submitted an event. I'll try that next time.

It was kind of nice way to start what otherwise could have been a very mundane Sunday. I wish I could start every day like that.

Meanwhile, this kind of demolotion they do in this phase has been going on since the late 1960s, I recall also in the 80's seeing the Baker Hotel and a great number of buildings go this way, it is the solution, and yet in my fanatic years I felt it was such a waste until one begins to understand,.... progress and the Ghost Town, such as Detroit, which has a hidden side to it, and so Dallas like Vegas,is building towards wonders, then again we are the moment now, until then.
