Dallas Veteran’s Day Parade available for viewing on iMedia
Can't make it out in person to the downtown Dallas parade honoring those who've donned uniforms in the service of our nation's military? No problem - you can tune in later this evening and catch the whole thing on Dallas' iMedia Network cable channel.
The parade starts at 11 a.m., kicked off by ceremonies at City Hall (1500 Marilla); Grand Marshalls include retired Rear Adm. L.R. Bob Smith and retired Maj. Gen. Richard Mulberry. There'll be a display of military vehicles and equipment out for public viewing prior to the parade, along with a special commemoration this year of the 55th anniversary of cessation of hostilities in Korea, and a heartfelt salute to the sacrifices made by our military families.
Tonight at 7 p.m. you can watch the entire proceedings on the Dallas iMedia Network (channel 95/Time Warner, or 44/Verizon Fios); it will also be available for streamed viewing at the iMedia website.
