Kitchen Dog Theater's 18th season of theater continues with the area premiere of Edward Albee's The Goat, or Who is Sylvia?.

At the peak of his success, Martin, a prominent architect, reveals he is in love with a goat. His family and friends do not understand. Winner of the Tony, New York Drama Critics Circle, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards for best play of the year, The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? is an unsettling analysis of who we are allowed to love and the limits of tolerance. Edward Albee is one of America’s most preeminent playwrights. In addition to Tonys and numerous other awards, he has won the Pulitzer Prize three times. His work includes Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf and The Zoo Story.

The production will be directed by KDT Artistic Company Member Tim Johnson and will feature an outstanding ensemble of KDT Artistic Company Members Diane Box-Worman and Barry Nash as well as local luminaries Bob Hess and Kevin Moore, who are both making their KDT debuts.

The show will run from November 14 - December 13 and your can purchase tickets online or by calling 214-953-1055. To save some extra money, there will be a pay-what-you-can performances for the first 25 patrons at the Box Office window on any Wednesday or Thursday night show. Available on a first come/first serve basis. No reservations accepted.
