Dallas recycles political campaign signs
DALLAS After the election, many people want to know where to deposit the signs from their yards and business locations. Because almost all of the sign materials are readily recyclable, the City has established four temporary drop-off locations to deposit the signs. For the next two weeks - through November 26 - residents can visit any of the four city waste facilities below to deliver the campaign signs. Just put them in the large, green, open-topped containers at each location, and the City of Dallas Sanitation Services department will handle the rest.
Southeast Dallas: McCommas Bluff Landfill, 5100 Youngblood Rd. Recycling container is at the Citizen's Drop-Off Center at the landfill.
8:00 am-7:00 pm Monday-Saturday (closed Sunday)
Southwest Dallas: Westmoreland Transfer Station, 4610 S. Westmoreland Rd. Recycling container is at the Citizen's Drop-Off area - just inside the facility gate.
Monday-Sunday
Northwest Dallas: Bachman Transfer Station, 9500 Harry Hines Blvd. Recycling container is at the Citizen's Drop-Off area - called Dry Gulch Recycling Center.
7:30 am-5:00 pm Monday-Sunday
Northeast Dallas: Fair Oaks Transfer Station, 7677 Fair Oaks Rd. Recycling container is at the Citizen's Drop-Off area - just inside the facility gate.
Monday-Sunday
