McKinney high school students earn photography awards
Three McKinney North High School students received awards in the Association of Texas Photography Instructor's fall competition, a competition that included 4,856 entries in 16 categories and two divisions (beginning and advanced).
Haley Jo Horton received first place advanced formal/studio portrait. The advanced division of this category had 66 entries.
Houston Siegrist received honorable mention advanced student life. The advanced division of this category had 224 entries.
Rachel Plumley received first place advanced student life, where the advanced division of this category had 224 entries. She also received third place advanced sports/action, a division--category with 351 entries, and she received first honorable mention advanced open, a division--category with 283 entries.
