DALLAS Dallas' Hilton Anatole Hotel announces the completion and grand opening of V Spa, the hotel's new luxury spa oasis. Guests can now experience "sensual Zen" among a variety of other amenities set within the hotel's lush 45-acre grounds. V Spa offers body work and massages, scrubs and wraps, facials and skin care, men's treatments, waxing services, and manicures and pedicures.
V Spa is inspired by the French term "eau de vie" meaning "water of life" or "elixir of life." Eau de vie also represents an exquisite aperitif that has been enjoyed by tens of millions of Europeans for the past few hundred years. V Spa celebrates the pureness of life, connection with others, and the refinement that comes with age. Simply put, it is "pure, fresh and fun!"
The playful and witty menu offerings complement the spa name and concept, emphasizing a fresh, sparkling quality that captures the intense essence of nature. Whether a Vino-therapy Massage that revitalizes the skin with the anti-aging properties of the Chardonnay Grapeseed or the LaVish Luxury Facial, an organic anti-aging facial that restores skin's youthful radiance with decadent champagne, caviar and truffle crèmes, the treatments are first-class in service, quality and products.
V Spa's grand opening follows on the heels of a dramatic $57 million hotel overhaul, and recent renovation of the Verandah Club, the hotel's state-of-the-art workout facility. The spa's design and décor, created by world-renowned Blu Spas, Inc., continues the stately, lavish, and contemporary themes that are prominently featured throughout the hotel, such as clean lines, breath-taking art fixtures, sleek lighting, subtle Asian influences and an earthy yet vivid color palette.
"We've been working to transform the Anatole to meet and satisfy all the needs of today's travelers, while retaining the elegance and charm of this 30-year-old Dallas hospitality landmark. Today, having a spa on the property is an extremely important quality for many travelers," said Marc L. Messina, general manager for the Hilton Anatole Hotel. "The renovations allow the hotel to remain a strong competitor in today's growing marketplace where excellence, quality, top of the line amenities and customer service are all top of mind."
V Spa's décor features rich natural finishes, confectionary hues of caramel and creams with a splash of contrast, exotic light fixtures, and subtle Asian influences weaved within the design and color palette. Designers used natural and soothing finishes like honey onyx stone, Macassar wood, natural charcoal pebble floor accents, Mother of pearl accent tiles, and a color palette of warm gold and brown with a splash of bright green, teal and bold blue. Bamboo planters that reach up to the ceiling, glass partitions that represent Shoji screens and art installments add the perfect Eastern influence, and contribute to the serene environment.
"V Spa will offer guests a luxurious, replenishing experience and an oasis where they can retreat for pure relaxation," said Jay Best, director of sales and marketing for the Hilton Anatole Hotel. "The transformed space will feature modern sleek styling, luxurious furnishings and premier treatments that will offer clarity to the mind, body and spirit."
Stunning custom designed chandeliers, made of pieces of Italian blown glass in ribbon shapes, will hang prominently in the entry and foyer of the spa, accompanied by display pieces with bamboo legs, a custom rug inspired by reflective water, and a greeters desk with bamboo legs and a rich honey onyx stone top. The seven treatment rooms are named after Japanese spa elements and feature onyx countertops, Asian inspired art and hand-carved accent mirrors.
The relaxation lounge, a central focus and soothing haven of plush chairs and ottomans mingled with eclectic lamps and side tables, helps spa goers get in the zone with a cleansing foot bath ritual prior to treatments. Its Eau de V Elixir Bar features a menu of ten healing elixirs, organic teas and the spirited signature O de V made with pear-infused brandy, sparkling wine, and choice of elixir.
As a business hotel, the Hilton Anatole provides an ideal environment for meetings, events and gatherings. V Spa provides the opportunity to leave work and the woes of the world behind to renew and reconnect with yourself. The lush menu includes everything from all-day packages to quick between-meeting services and luxurious, cutting edge treatments with
contemporary presentation. V Spa employs the latest trends by emphasizing pure, natural and organic products and services.
Lush materials and a calming atmosphere will help business travelers and locals unwind and slow down from the fast-paced business world. With any 50 minute service at V Spa, guests receive a day pass for full access to the newly renovated, state-of-the-art Verandah Club facilities and amenities.
