Construction begins on North Collins Street in Arlington on Monday, Nov. 17
Scheduled to begin on Monday, Nov. 17 and continue through March of 2009, construction along North Collins St. in Arlington is expected to cause traffic delays.
Two lanes will remain open in each direction of North Collins from Sanford St. to Randol Mill Rd., but contractors will be engaged in the process of relocating utilities, removing and replacing old drive and concrete curb approaches and installing continuous right turn lanes into the new Cowboys Stadium grounds.
The construction is planned to continue into March of 2009, so those who travel the corridor regularly might want to check out alternate routes along Center or Cooper streets.
