Salvation Army to start taking credit cards
The Salvation Army will be setting up multiple cash-free kettles this year around the metroplex for their annual Red Kettle campaign. Yes, that's right, instead of looking for loose change on the ground to put in the bucket (okay okay, or looking for it in your purse/pocket/car), you can charge it. The no cash kettles will be set up at Fry's in Plano this weekend and at the Walmart at West Park Boulevard and the Tollway. So now the question is, does the credit card kettle require a minimum, or can you be a cheapskate and just put $.50 on there?
