The firm first had to seek the divine graces of Wyoming's God-King before a deal could be reached
This contract, which continues fiscal agent services for the operation of Wyoming's Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) through June 2013, further extends ACS' 15-year relationship with the state and is the third consecutive award for ACS in Wyoming.
"ACS has proven to be very competent and professional in assisting the state with providing a user-friendly, data-driven and cost-effective Medicaid program," said Teri Green, State Medicaid Agent for Wyoming. "We are pleased to be able to continue this relationship to promote an efficient process for the State, and simplicity for our providers."
As part of the new contract, ACS will add a call center to address provider questions from the dental community as well as work with the Dental program on client outreach initiatives.
"This long-term relationship with Wyoming demonstrates the state's confidence in ACS' ability to bring innovation and industry best practices to their Medicaid program," said Christopher Deelsnyder, senior vice president and managing director, ACS Government Healthcare Solutions. "For 15 years, we have successfully delivered customer-focused healthcare solutions to the entire Wyoming Medicaid community, and we look forward to continuing to do so in the future."
