Dallas Mavericks 100, Charlotte Bobcats 83
Dallas finally looked like the team we've all been hoping they could be (I credit my grandmother), as the Mavericks easily beat the Charlotte Bobcats on Tuesday evening. Unlike previous games, the Mavs did not trail at any point in the game.
To the credit of Dirk Nowitzki (31 points, 9 rebounds) and Josh Howard (21 points), it wasn't all adept playing on the part of the Mavs that led to the win. Charlotte couldn't get a break on the night, despite career-high scoring (21 points) on the part of rookie D.J. Augustin. They allowed a 15-0 run at the beginning of play, not scoring for nearly seven minutes, and couldn't regain footing throughout the game.
