Kittrell/Riffkind Art Glass to extend their hours for the holiday season
For all the glass enthusiasts out there, or if you are shopping for a glass artist, Kittrell/Riffkind has some great finds if you're looking for handcrafted original ornaments, or glass art of any kind. They also do gift certificates and sell supplies if your shopping for someone interested in glass art (like stained glass). They are opening a special ornament show Saturday and will also be extending their hours to be open Sundays from 11-5 from Thanksgiving until Christmas. During the two weeks prior to Christmas, Kittrell will also have extended evening hours Monday - Thursday. (One wonders when they will have time to do their Christmas shopping.

Beautiful work's and yet a dying art, that the german's had mastered in hand blow marble's in the 19th century, until then A.T, Glass collector.

Actually not dying A.T. There are several glass blowing companies in Dallas, plenty in Austin and Denton too. I also understand that many of the glass blowers that attend the big convention in Vegas every year, are moving towards art glass and not just the smoking variety.

Well I ment it was a dying art in a very obscure way, but your right as always and right when your not...but you have a good eye for glass and that counts..
