Dallas Mavericks 96, Houston Rockets 86
Wait, that's uh, that's three wins in a row now. Hoo boy, that there's a winnin' streak kept alive against the most despised of rivals, the Houston Rockets. All managed without Josh Howard (never mind that Yao Ming was also absent).
Once again, the Dallas Mavericks led the entire game before finishing 96-86. Jason Terry scored 31 points and had four assists, while Dirk Nowitzki scored 24 points and had 12 rebounds. Rafer Alston was Houston's high performer with 16 points and eight assists. Howard and Ming both sat with injuries below their left knees.

the mavs have a good chance on winning the next 2 games, for a possible 5 game winning streak. This would certainly bring back their season (although it is still early on) and get them really close to .500
