Cowboys’ Felix Jones done for season, Terrell Owens getting over flu
The phalangeal fates have been particularly unkind to Dallas this season.
Rookie running back Felix Jones hadn't seen the field since injuring his hamstring on October 12. Expecting a return for Sunday, he tore a ligament in his toe during rehab that will require surgery. The phalangeal fates have not been kind to the Dallas Cowboys this season, as Romo only recently returned after breaking his right pinky. Jones started his NFL career in superstar fashion, scoring three touchdowns in six games before getting injured. He'll be out for the remainder of the season.
Expected to start, but perhaps slightly under the weather, will be wide receiver Terrell Owens. We was sent home from practice on Wednesday, suffering from the flu, and missed Thursday, as well. Sunday's game will be only the second time Owens has played the San Francisco 49ers since leaving the team, his first, after the 2003 season. He is expected to make a full recovery and will be back to crying about everything, soon enough.
