Sullivan's Steakhouse in North Dallas celebrated its 10-year anniversary on Monday November 17 with "A Taste Of Vegas," an unique event whose proceeds benefited The Kevin Burnett Foundation, supporting literacy and education for underprivileged youth.

Burnett, a linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys, attended with his wife Maia and a passel of other Cowboys that included Martellius Bennett, Bobby Carpenter, Leonard Davis, Jason Witten, Patrick Crayton, Marion Barber, Dat Nguyen, Bradie James, and more.

The highlight was a performance by Free Reign, a rock band formed by Cowboy Marc Colombo, with fellow Cowboy Corey Procter on drums; Isaiah Steinbeck joined the band onstage for some freestyle rapping.

Faithful Sullivan's customers lined up for the chance to play in a casino and purchase raffle tickets for prizes that included a flat-screen plasma TV, jewelry, art (a painting of Michelle and Barack Obama was especially popular), plus numerous pairs of cleats signed by various players. Executive chef Kenny Mills created a buffet that included carved prime rib, sweet potato casserole, chicken-and-red-grape salad, tenderloin and meatloaf sliders, white cheddar au gratin potatoes, spanikopita, miniature crab cakes, and firecracker shrimp, plus signature desserts such as bananas Foster bread pudding and warm chocolate brownie cake.
