I-30 highway project in Arlington “on schedule”

Email Print Tell us your story Comment

Anyone trucking it from Arlington (or further west) to Dallas is likely mildy annoyed at the temporary lanes in place due to construction. Good news though, state highway officials announced that the I-30 highway project in Arlington is both on schedule and on budget. The project includes new bridges (at Collins Street, Center Street and Baird Farm Road) and an HOV lane that will run from Arlington to Dallas. The project is expected to be completed at the end of 2010, so while the project is "on time," prepare to be annoyed for another two years.
