Ironic that Mr. Washington was an inventor; I would have been nice if this was the "Booker T Washington High School for Science, Math, and I.T. skills". Oh well... Even though other countries will take away great jobs from our children in most industries, at least we still have the entertainment industry cornered for now!!! Yea, U.S.A.! We have our priorities straight!

Dating back to the 1920's in the old freedman town Community, this school has come a long way and it is a landmark of what has come out of a once colorful and yet difficult State and Thomas area , now dwarfed by the new Art's District, then again the new school is a great imporvement for the Magnet Arts in the city and for the youth in this Community, A.T, Once Magnet Art's Student in this Communinty.
