Dallas ISD Teen School Board elects officers for 2008-2009 school year
Teen Board is comprised of two students from each Dallas ISD high school and meets monthly to discuss issues that concern the local schools.
DALLAS The Dallas ISD Teen School Board recently elected officers for the 2008-2009 school year.
The officers are: Harrison Blair, president, a senior at the Magnet Center for Public Service: Government, Law and Law Enforcement at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center; Melody Price, vice president, a senior at Skyline High School; Jonathon King, secretary, a junior at W.W. Samuell High School; and Dominnik Reyes, service project chair, a junior at Sunset High School.
Teen Board is comprised of two students from each Dallas ISD high school and meets monthly to discuss issues that concern the local schools. Through the board, members have the opportunity to offer advice about student concerns to the superintendent and be involved in the district in a leadership capacity.
