Alcohol sales have stayed steady in Dallas Fort Worth despite slowing economy
Despite a slowing economy and less consumer spending, alcohol sales in North Texas have stayed steady. Fort Worth based Majestic has seen an 8% increase in sales. The trend seems to be that more people are opting to buy alcohol and drink at home, although their choice in brand may be downgraded.

My drinking has stayed around the same in this down economy. I have an occasional mixed or decent beer. Nothing gets rid of the hassles of the day like a Shiner..
