There has been a shakeup at the top at the McKinney Chamber of Commerce. After nearly nine years serving as president of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, Terri Ricketts is out as of Monday.
Executive Vice President Terrie Keith confirmed for McKinneyNews.net that Ricketts is no longer with the Chamber. Keith, who has been with the Chamber since February of 1995, will serve as acting president until the nine-member executive committee can meet to determine how to proceed in the search for a new president.
It is unclear whether Ricketts was relieved of her duties or tendered her resignation.
"We were informed by the executive committee that Terri was no longer president," Keith said.
Keith was unable to confirm when the executive committee would meet, but the next scheduled Chamber board meeting is set for Dec. 16. Action could happen at that time.
