Dallas’ Granada Theater gets nice shout-out from Calexico crew member
Greenville Avenue venue was mentioned in a blog entry about the Calexico show on November 8.
DALLAS A tour diary entry posted on the Paste magazine blog about the Calexico show that occurred in Dallas on November 8 gives the Granada Theater a nice shout-out as follows:
The Granada Theater is a beauty and built in 1946. The local crew are incredibly friendly, especially Mike the LD who helps Frank Marchand (our front of house soundman) and I install our European backdrop that we commonly refer to as the "Jackson Pollock ectoplasm."
An audience shot by Bill Ellison shows some pretty good detail on the crowd. Are you in that photo?
