Here's an interesting tale of free enterprise acumen.
It's a profile of Dallas Christmas tree merchant Tony Sandone, describing how he stumbled onto the idea of buying monster fir trees out of the front yards of unsuspecting homeowners up north and trucking them down to Texas for use by various local municipalities, organizations and educational institutions.
Hey, at least he's replanting as he harvests - not to mention recycling the "used" trees into mulch.
