Gensler Dallas honored by AIA Dallas as architectural Firm of the Year
DALLAS Gensler will be honored at the annual Celebrate Architecture 2008 Gala hosted by the Dallas chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
AIA Dallas executive director Paula Clements states that “the award is given to an architectural firm who advances architecture through outstanding service to the profession.” She notes that Gensler is being recognized for working to bring the vision of the recently launched Dallas Center for Architecture to reality, from “inception to branding images to completion of the physical space.”
Gensler principal Ted Kollaja, a past president of the Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and the Dallas Architectural Foundation notes, ”We’re delighted that AIA Dallas has chosen Gensler for this prestigious award,” He continues, “The hard work of our entire team is being recognized by the AIA Dallas.”
The award marks the second time this year that Gensler Dallas has achieved peer recognition by prestigious professional organizations. The firm was honored at the Texas/Oklahoma Chapter of International Interior Design Association’s (IIDA) annual Gala in August with a Pinnacle Award, the highest honor that IIDA can bestow upon a design firm.
