Some laid-off Dallas ISD teachers may be heading to Vegas
The Clark County School District has around 400 teaching positions to fill, and plans to recruit Dallas teachers.
Some of the Dallas ISD teachers who are about to be laid off may find a lifeline from the Clark County School District in Nevada, aka Las Vegas. The CCSD has around 400 open teaching positions, and plans to come to Dallas in the coming week to recruit teachers. The only catch? DISD teachers start off at $44,000/year, while Vegas teachers start at $35,000/year, with the added bonus of having a higher cost of living.
