"These rocks ... they taste like burning!"

An employee at a Dallas bulk mailing center off I-30 discovered a suspicious package "emitting a 'chemical-type' smell Wednesday morning, forcing the evacuation of employees. Some employees said they had a burning feeling in their throat and lungs.

UPDATE: Oopsie -- the package that "caused" the burning feeling only contained rocks. Fire-rescue officials speculate that anxiety caused the employees to have difficulty breathing.

Working the system maybe? "Psst, hey...we can all get the rest of the day off if we cough and act like we're in pain" Classic efficiency and steadfastness of the USPS.

I can only hope those rocks get delivered to someone who's planning on stoning his/her mailman.

Can't you just see the symptoms going down the line like an assembly plant: "I too have a burning itching feeling in my eyes..err throat and I think I need the rest of the week off to recover."
