Chesapeake acquires Exxon Mobil’s clean, affordable, American, abundant Barnett Shale assets
Included among the assets were gas wells, leases, and an 8-inch pipeline running from Keller to Corsicana.
Announced on Wednesday, Harding Energy acquired Barnett Shale assets from DDJet, whose majority owner was Exxon Mobil, and then sold those assets to Chesapeake Energy. Included among the assets were gas wells, leases, and an 8-inch pipeline running from Keller to Corsicana. Harding claims the sale will allow the company to focus on land owned in two East Texas fields, the James Limestone and the Haynesville Shale.
