Dallas band Stanhope to open for Jordan Pruitt at State Fair
The band Stanhope, consisting of four Highland Park High School 10th graders, was selected from 23 other Texas bands to perform live on the main stage of the State Fair of Texas on Monday, October 13, opening for Jordan Pruitt. The contest was held on the website www.ourstage.com.
The four band members are on the Highland Park football and lacrosse teams, and play on Sundays at Highland Park Presbyterian Church. Stanhope performs locally, and is about to go back into the studio for its second CD.
