Burleson will host Regional Transportation Council public meeting
The City of Burleson will host a public meeting for the Regional Transportation Council on Wednesday, Oct. 15, starting at 10 a.m. at 141 West Renfro Street.
The council is part of the North Central Texas Council of Governments. The meeting will give residents the opportunity to find out what's happening with transportation in the region and to help set priorities for the future.
The topics include long-term transportation documents, including the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (Mobility 2030) amendments, 2010-2013 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) development, and air quality conformity schedule and comments; the Brownfield Development call for projects; regional outer loop status report, and the next steps; and the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) Partnership.
