Big Buck Brewery in Grapevine changes name to Uncle Buck’s

— Big Buck Brewery & Steakhouse, open next to Bass Pro Shops at Grapevine Mills mall, has changed management and its name: It is now called Uncle Buck's Brewery & Steakhouse; Uncle Buck was the uncle of Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris who always took time to take a young Johnny fishing.

The lodge-themed restaurant and brewery is open every day from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. with extended bar hours until midnight. The lunch menu, served from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., features a tasty assortment of soups and salads, beef and buffalo burgers, sandwiches, and entrees including grilled shrimp, chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and spicy venison sausage pasta. The dinner menu features USDA Choice steaks and buffalo, as well as scrumptious fish, chicken, and ribs dishes.

To quench your thirst, Uncle Buck's offers brews like White River Beer, Fallow Kolsch, Whitetail Hefe-Weizen, American Sportsman Ale, RedHead Ale, Captain's Choice Ale, Uncle Buck's Scotch Ale, Black Tail Stout, and Black Cherry Shandy.

"We take great pride in the quality of our food and the atmosphere of our restaurant," stated General Manager Cleon Converse. "It's a great place to bring family and friends and once they’ve tried us, they will be back!"

Uncle Buck’s Brewery & Steakhouse also does banquets and catering. For more information call 972-691-5100.

Erin Rice, says:

I was driving by Grapevine Mills on Saturday in a generally foul mood. Then I saw the sign for Uncle Buck's, thought of the movie, and smiled. I say it was a good change, the name of the restaurant and my mood.
