Dallas firm Taber Estes Thorne & Carr’s partners honored in 2008 Texas Super Lawyers listing

DALLAS — The Dallas-based law firm of Taber Estes Thorne & Carr PLLC announced today that name partners Dawn Estes and Lori Carr have earned spots on the prestigious 2008 Texas Super Lawyers listing of the state’s top attorneys.

Ms. Estes was recognized for her work in business litigation, while Ms. Carr was recognized for her expertise in labor & employment law.

To compile the Texas Super Lawyers listing, more than 70,000 attorneys across the state nominated their peers whose work they most admire. Super Lawyers editors chose a blue-ribbon panel of attorneys who made the final selections. Fewer than 5 percent of all attorneys in the state received the special honor.

The Texas Super Lawyers list appears in the October 2008 issue of Texas Monthly magazine, as well as Texas Super Lawyers magazine, a publication co-produced by the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Media Inc.

This is just the latest Super Lawyers recognition earned by the firm’s partners. Ms. Estes has been featured in the Texas Super Lawyers listing each year since its inception in 2003, and Ms. Carr has been recognized each of the previous three years.
