— The city of Farmers Branch is teaming up with the Dignity Memorial Network to present the nationally acclaimed “Escape School” program on Tuesday, Oct. 21 from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. at theFarmers Branch Community Recreation Center.

Presented free of charge, the program teaches critical abduction prevention and life-saving tactics on how to survive in dangerous situations. The program discusses topics including: how to be smart, not scared; how all the rules change in an abduction attempt; the difference between good and bad strangers; the common lures abductors use and why they are successful; how to get away, right away; how to escape from a car; and how to find help when you need it.
