Continuing their series of open-to-the-public classroom discussions, the folks at the University of Texas at Dallas' Fair Park-located Centraltrak facility will host a talk by UTD assoc. prof. Nils Roemer entitled: " 'But here we have fun...': Crime, Violence and Art in Weimar Berlin."

Dr. Roemer, who would like you to be on the lookout for his missing umlauts, will approach his subject matter by discoursing upon the movie Cabaret, and veer off periodically into discussions of the writings by Berthold Brecht, paintings by George Grosz and the films of Fritz Lang.

The discussion is scheduled for Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.; Centraltrak is located at 800 Exposition Ave., just across from Fair Park.
