Richland Hills considers cutting the T
The Richland Hills City Council is considering splitting from the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (aka "The T"). According to council member Larry Marrs, the money put into The T could go towards more police and fire positions and ridership is low anyway and mostly schoolchildren. (Oh great, take the buses away from children who can't drive and have shorter legs, so it takes them longer to walk from point A to B.) The council will be working with The T to find a solution to lower costs before anything goes to vote.
