Dallas Cowboys lose QB Tony Romo, punter McBriar, WR Sam Hurd, LB Anthony Spencer and RB Felix Jones to injuries
It's a great day to be a Cowboys fan.
DALLAS Apparently the Dallas Cowboys' embarrassing performance last night against the Arizona Cardinals was worse than originally thought: the Cowboys will spend significant amount of time without injured players Tony Romo, Felix Jones, Mat McBriar, Sam Hurd and Anthony Spencer.

Franchise-saving quarterback Tony Romo will likely be the biggest loss, as a broken pinkie finger will sideline the All-Pro for an estimated four weeks. Romo was obviously in discomfort on his final two throws Sunday, after he recovered his own fumble in overtime. The Cowboys stated that there will be no surgery, just hope that the finger will heal by itself.
The Cowboys' next three games are against the Redskins, 49ers and Seahawks before their bye week. Romo will be replaced by ancient journeyman Brad Johnson, who last started a game in 2006 and lacks the mobility and arm of Romo.
Punter Mat McBriar was also a casualty of the game, having been carted off the field on the blocked punt in OT that lost the game. An MRI showed he had a broken foot, and will miss the next two months.
In addition, the Cowboys will spend some time without wide receiver Sam Hurd (left ankle), rookie running back/electrifying kick returner Felix Jones (hamstring) and linebacker Anthony Spencer (hamstring).

I stubbed my toe once and missed 3 weeks of work, I can only imagine the pain Romo is going through; (please sense the sarcasm).

I heard the Cowboys picked up, or traded for Roy Williams WR from The Lions! I guess we will see what Brad Johnson can bring to the table?
