Sheraton Hotel, formerly Adam’s Mark, in downtown Dallas to get makeover
DALLAS The Sheraton Hotel in downtown Dallas -- the former Adam's Mark -- is getting a makeover. The public area will be upgraded first; Chartres Lodging Group, who bought the property in February, plan to spend about $87 million on the makeover. Really, it doesn't seem that long ago that it got a makeover when it became Adam's Mark. But this is the kind of thing Mayor Tom Leppert is talking about.

My Dad used to work for Fireman Funds in this building in the 1960s,it is a landmark building from all postcards and photos of that era, and it was an amazing feet of recyle... that came about to do what they have done, and so this is good Inter City recycling, while it holds a new presence, not as historic, but lets say a tooth that has been capped for the public and city to consider.....good landmark taste.......Alex Troup, Historian.
