Each Thursday from tonight (Oct. 16) through Oct. 30, Arlington's Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts has scheduled free concerts with a Latin theme, dubbing them "Musica Latina Nights." The concerts start at 7:30 p.m.; the pavilion is located at 100 W. Abram St. in downtown Arlington.
Tonight's performance will be by Mariachi Rosas Divinas, an all-female mariachi group which - it says here - takes "Latino pop culture back to its roots."
Coming up next Thursday (Oct. 23), attendees will have an opportunity to bask in the precision and energy of Carabali, delivering up salsa and merengue.
And finally, on Oct. 30, Canta Rhythm and Brass will take the stage, offering a fusion of music with uniquely Latin flavorings.
