I am looking forward to voting early this week. My greatest pleasure will be to cross party lines and vote for Victor Manuel for our new County Commissioner. Mr. Jaynes needs to move on to opening his legal practice and retire from politics. I will be glad to take side bets, that it will be many, many years before his practice gets up to the salary he is currently getting as our commissioner. It will be more difficult for him to raise his income as it will be for him in private practice. One, he will not be able to just vote for an increase, and Two, he will now have to work at least full time in a profession. Hopefully, maybe we can see a bon fire with all the campaign signs, he has saved all those years, to keep us warm on the cold winters ahead!
