Photo gallery: Coppell Oaktoberfest 2008
From Special Events Coordinator Sherri Lewis we've received these photos taken at the City of Coppell's recent Oaktoberfest event. (Thanks, Sherri.)
Here's what the press release says about the rockin' good times at Andy Brown Park:
It was a gorgeous fall day. The music of Emerald City Band created an atmosphere of jubilee. The smell of BBQ and funnel cakes billowed through the air. Bright, streaming beams of laser lights shot across the sky. Families poured into Andy Brown Park with kiddos whose eyes were aglow at the sight of trains, horses, activities and the vibrantly colorful hot air balloon.
An estimated crowd of 5000 people came out to the park to enjoy the second annual Coppell Oaktober Fest.
If you missed out on this shindig, Sherri wants to remind you that the city's next big seasonal event is the Holiday Parade and Celebration at Town Center Plaza, scheduled for Dec. 6.
