Fort Worth city councilman Chuck Silcox dies
Fort Worth city councilman Chuck Silcox, 65, died Friday of complications from prostate cancer. Silcox had been hospitalized at Harris Methodist Hospital since Monday.
Silcox was the longest-serving member of the Fort Worth City Council, having served since 1991. Silcox's District 3 seat will remain open until the next regular election day, which is May 9, 2009.
