ADDISON Less than a year after it opened, Ounce Prime Steakhouse in Addison is in fact closed, as hinted at on Eats.
A spokesperson at the original Ounce in San Antonio said that the Dallas branch closed on Sunday night, and that they were unsure about hard-and-fast plans but that there were plans to remodel the location into another concept; and also to open a new Ounce in a more northern part of Dallas (i.e., Frisco or Allen).
Honestly, although they denied that they were having troubles, that place was pretty much doomed from Day One. They spent a fortune on the interior but it was a steakhouse without a point, and with clueless service to boot.

Yeah - when the first full description paragraph of the restaurant says nothing whatsoever about their food, but plenty about the 'mosaic waterfall', there's a problem.

Never even bothered going. Not at all shocked this didn't pan out for them.
Needs more live music in Addison, imo, especially within walking proximity to all those apartments near Montfort/Belt Line.
