Broadcast on CNN via WFAA is this story about a Rockwall woman who recently bought a foreclosed home at the Dallas Convention Center auction, only to return it to the previous owner. Marilyn Mock, Rockwall, joined hundreds of others bidding on foreclosed properties when she noticed Tracy (no last name reported) crying. Mock asked Tracy what was wrong and the woman explained that she had come to the event to say goodbye to her family's Pottsboro home.
When the lot came up, Mock started bidding on the property, eventually buying it for just under $30,000. She then told Tracy that he had bought the home for her. While the two still have to work out the details, Tracy and her family get to move back into their home soon.

"She knows how much she has blessed my life," Tracy said. "Nobody's ever done anything like that for me before, and I hope that I can repay the favor."
Hope?!
Pay her $675 each month for 5 years, imo. Keep your house, kind stranger still gets a decent return on the investment, all is well.

ALL HEART...
This is not a stunt. Ms Mock is known to be kind to all... a lover of animals and a great human being.. Rich of heart, she works 6 days a week to feed her family.
Accolades to Marilyn...
God Bless...

Feed her family, shelter someone else's, and probably clothe a third one she never bothered telling anyone about.
Seriously, though. I'm impressed.

Come again? Says home, is a house...what's the problem?

The "lot" that the article refers to is an auction lot, not a lot as in a vacant lot of land.

And even if it was just a lot, who are you to tell people they can't throw up a tent made out of garbage bags and car parts and call it home?

Relax..
This is a home in a small community that is located close to Oklahoma - Lake Texoma. Ms Mock lives almos 2 hours away on the East Side of Dallas. Rockwall area.
The home is a modest home worth approx $100,000. Read into this that Ms Mock was there with her son. She bought the house for the lady (former owner) as a gesture of unexpected kindness.
All of us that know Marilyn Mock are not suprised by actions, just the level of generosity. She does have two pigs, a couple of dogs and virtually anything else that needs to be sheltered at her place of business.
Great job Marilyn.
