The Men's Club is a sexually oriented business on Northwest Highway in Dallas. The lawsuit alleges that Leggett was employed by The Men's Club when he was brutally attacked from behind while he sat eating dinner. The attack left Leggett with a broken leg and head injuries.

The attacker was allegedly hired by a customer, Shane Jenkins, to attack Leggett. Leggett alleges he had previously warned his employer about the customer and had asked that the customer be barred from the establishment after the customer had pulled a knife on others while in the VIP Section of The Men's Club. On the night of the attack, it is alleged that Erin Fry, the manager on duty, was informed that an attack on Leggett was imminent and that she was negligent in failing to warn Leggett of the impending attack.

The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages from the defendants for their actions that lead to and facilitated the assault.

I wonder what the guy did to piss off the crazed knife-man.

And why the knife-wielding guy didn't attack Thomas himself.

I love it when everyday run of the mill thuggery is described in legal jargon like this. I imagine some big-arse hitman speaking to the manager in a horrible fake british accent..."I say, ol' chap. I'd like to inform you of my intentions of giving one of your employees a good rousing."

Anyone who knows the story would know that Thomas was a little too arrogant and abusive in his treatment of the entertainers. He took advantage of a 20 year old girl who had taken too many xanax and had sex with her in front of a crowd on the parking lot while laughing that she was incoherent. If she had not been so embarrassed, she would have filed rape charges. If it had not been Shane it would have been someone else. Several people had his number. He got what he had coming the old fashioned way "he earned it."
