Music: No sooner than the buzz started on The O's, Idol Records snatched 'em up ... Cindy Chaffin caught video of Matthew and the Arrogant Sea, Sarah Jaffe and Robert Gomez ... The Dallas Voice caught Janet Jackson's AAC show ... Shea Tellefsen thought Jack's Mannequin should have called it quits before the encore ... Rachel Orr says she and the crowd enjoyed Matt Nathanson.
Artsy: Laura E checked out Dallas artists who sell their goods on Etsy, just in time for you to shop locally for the holidays ... New content partner and urban explorer Floyd Largent of Dallas / Fort Worth and Me visited the Stockyards, Bonnie and Clyde's resting places and the Trinity Greenbelt ... - Kool Herc, the father of hip-hop performs at Minc (and in Dallas) for the first time ever.
- All the Halloween goodies are right here.
- Celebrate the reason for the season at the Latino Cultural Center's Día de Los Muertos Celebration/Altares Opening.
- There's a computer gaming symposium at El Centro that at least one of our users is very excited about.
- There's an eclectic (and free) lineup of bands at Bill's Records, featuring our pal Ken Turetzky.
- The last outing for the Main Street Live Fest features Mae, Black Tie Dynasty, The New Frontiers, Homer Hiccolm, Blowing Trees and the Burning Hotels.
- Cheech and Chong light up the Majestic.
