Birdville ISD open enrollment program three times more successful than expected
Birdville ISD lifted its residency policy for this school year to allow students from anywhere to enroll. While administrators expected about 100 new students, so far 320 have been approved, with 66 still under review.
The district receives about $5,000 in state funding for every student.
