Fort Worth to approve cattywompous pipeline and airport maintenance
The City of Fort Worth will conduct it's regular city council meeting Tuesday at 7 pm. The meeting will start with a few presentations, one proclaiming Prostate Awareness Month, the Fort Worth Human Relations Commission Awards and certificates of recognition to former board and commission members. Items on this week's agenda include:
We want the pipeline to go here here here here here here here. Yeah, it will probably be uncomfortable for some residents and/or businesses, but we are a utility company which means no one is the boss of us. And that's where we want it. So there.
- There will be a benefit hearing for the budget and five year service plan for the '08-'09 fiscal year for districts 1, 6, 7 11 and 12.
- The council is considering another permit for a high impact gas well site.
- They will also authorize grants for airport maintenance for Fort Worth's area airports. Alliance, Meacham International, and Spinks Airport, in case you didn't realize Fort Worth actually had airports.
- This week the city is buying a new boiler system, a water pipeline and a sewer facility.
- The city is authorizing Texas Midstream a public-use-right-of-way license to lay more pipeline. It will be across Northern Cross Boulevard, West of North Riverside Drive with a Second Crossing at North Riverside Drive, South of Northeast Loop 820, a Third Crossing at Altair Boulevard, North of Northern Crossing, a Fourth Crossing at Endicott Avenue, West of Beach Street and a Fifth Crossing at North Beach Street, South of Northeast Loop 820. Wow, that's quite a configuration there. The city is authorizing another pipeline across Meacham Boulevard, along Mercantile Street and west of North Beach Street.
- The council meeting wraps up with a budget hearing.
