The Dallas ISD thought they'd add a few zeros to their challenge.

The Dallas ISD thought they'd add a few zeros to their challenge.

The Dallas ISD has discovered that it had a $64 million shortfall from last year's budget caused by inadequate budgeting in placing extra teachers in schools. The $64 million mistake will mean that the district has to dip into its reserves, making them extremely low.

Dallas Spohn, says:

DISD is always in the news. How hard is it re appoint real quality people to the administrative side of DISD? Is that why they freaked when the city wanted to "look into" their finances? How far off can you be with new hires to be 64 million in the hole? How much longer id Dallas going to keep the same people running that program?
