Big seafood restaurant to open at second phase of Shops at Legacy in Plano in November

— Coast Global Seafood, a new concept from the award-winning restaurant group RG2, will open November 7 in the Shops at Legacy in Plano.

Michael Cox, formerly of Central Market and Star Canyon, has been appointed RG2’s VP of Restaurant Operations, where he also oversees operations at Nicola’s Ristorante Italiano.

General manager is Charles Leon, and the chef is Brian Annapolen.

The 8,000-sf dining room is designed by Paul Draper, with custom artwork and light fixtures that play up to the Coast concept of jet-fresh seafood prepared in a chef-driven kitchen. A patio overlooks a Bellagio-inspired fountain which serves as the centerpiece of the entertainment district’s newest expansion north of Legacy Drive. A private dining room holds up to 50 guests.

Could someone please ask their PR people what a "...Coast concept of jet-fresh seafood..." is???

The common coast concept on any coast I've ever been is "boat-fresh seafood!" Jet-fresh seafood is an inland concept.

Eejits.

Uhh, Billusa99, pay attention! The name of the restaurant is COAST Global Seafood. So saying the "COAST concept of jet-fresh seafood..." is saying the "restaurant's concept of jet-fresh seafood..." See, its really not that difficult. ;-)
